Candle Holders

Whats New

Work is under way to make new stock for the first fair in February, I have been working on having a new section at the fair to show my more adventurous pieces.  The Spinal Injuries Scotland Awards can still be seen here. (SEE PICTURES) I intend to try and coast along for a wee while and try to re-charge my body batteries as well as my wheelchair ones.

CANDLE HOLDERS

All the items are hand made at one of the lathes in the WW workshop, Wishaw SCOTLAND, each piece shown is made from wood that has come from within a 50 mile radius of Glasgow, every piece is individual so there is only one.

Candle Arch  Turned on the lathe from a rectangle of Solid wood with a brass candle holder underneath  the candle  These Arches are quite dangerous to turn on the lathe, mainly because the speed must be well above 1000 revolutions per min, so its a little like a propeller when its going at full tilt.  These pieces are a signature piece by Isaac Curran
