After buying many "daft tools based on the recommendation of one high powered woodworker or another, it led me to ask the question “is it only one of these high powered woodworkers who can write a report on tools which require lets say a certain amount of skill to use?”, they all seem to be working for various companies, can I trust them?  Based on my experience so far in life, if I am being paid by a company to sell their goods they won’t like me or pay me if I say I don’t think much of their tools, so I am just an ordinary guy with average skills, but its me that has parted with my money and its me that the vast majority of us “amateur” wood turners are like, so to hell with it I buy a tool and I have an opinion. I dont get paid by any company or organisation This is therefore MY opinion of these tools.
