Work is under way to make new stock for the first fair
in February, I have been working on having a new section at the fair to show
my more adventurous pieces. The Spinal
Injuries Scotland Awards can still be seen here. (SEE
PICTURES) I intend to try and
coast along for a wee while and try to re-charge my body batteries as well
as my wheelchair ones.

We are now selling items in the SCOTTISH SHOWCASE GALLERY
in Kircudbright, so if you are in the area pop in and see our items. I dont
think our shop will reopen untill around October.

The new year is well in now and the first Craft Fair
is set for 5th Feb. Work is well underway to replenish all of our stock.
We have a few new crafters through the year along with all of our regulars.

All the pens are hand made at one of the lathes in the WW workshop, Wishaw
SCOTLAND. I use a
variety of materials, locally sourced wood, Acrylics, Laminated wood. Each
material is selected and prepared before hand then manually turned on the lathe
once all parts are finished they are put together by hand. The Slimline Biro has a
threaded style refill and is
the base for many pens, I always try to obtain the the hardest wearing plating.

The Lomond shape is very elegant and comes ready to write with
a new threaded style refill and with a gentle twist action the
writing head extends and twist back to retract. This pen is
designed to go in the handbag and has no clip at the top, so it wont
snag on things. It is a smooth mixed
acrylic with a high gloss finish, finished with a very hard wax to
give it an extra shine |
